stylish stay with some room for improvement
The room was stylish, with a clean design. I appreciated the air conditioning feature that allowed the lights to turn off, ensuring a quiet night. The breakfast spread was diverse, particularly the freshly baked pastries that impressed me greatly.
The coffee service could be improved, as it would be better to offer espresso options right at the table instead of waiting in line for filter coffee.

I stayed in a Double Room for four nights. The room was stylish and clean, and I loved that I could turn off the lights on the air conditioning unit so they wouldn't keep me awake. The bathroom was spacious and had a nice walk-in shower. The decor throughout the hotel was quite unique. It was also great to have tea and coffee sets in the room. Just a heads up, the walls seemed a little thin, so I could hear some noise from outside.

The hotel was just a short walk from the center of Florence. A laundromat was just a block away. Staff helpful.

A quick 5 minute walk to the Train station and 10 minute walk to all major sights in Florence, Cellai hotel is a great deal. Our room was quite spacious with a very well appointed bath as well. Very accommodating staff--our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but they cleaned it so it was ready within a few minutes after our arrival.
Rooftop "bar" was a let down. Not really a bar and the views weren't spectacular.

The kids loved the spacious triple room, and our dog felt right at home. Exploring the nearby markets was a fun experience for the family, especially with the fresh produce and vibrant atmosphere.
My children wanted more activities at the hotel for families.

The location is good. Just a ten minute walk from the sm Novella train station and 10 to 15 minutes from the Duomo. The building is a lovely historical venue The shower was nice and roomy. The largest I've seen in any hotel. The breakfast buffet was decent relatively speaking.
The fact that they charge for wi fi was a drawback. We could have stayed a lower priced b&b in the area since service didnt make up for the higher price at this hotel. Many of the front desk staff were aloof and not that willing to help. They dont offer any currency exchange.

Exellent design. Authmosphere. A lot of space. Library. Very good taste.
Some rooms have too small shower and could be very noisy in the street side.

Everything was perfect. Location, cleanliness, space, staff were great, breakfast was fantastic, food and surroundings by candlelight. The hotel is so cosy, with art and antiques around every corner.Three honesty bars, room very clean and loads of space. Receptionist reconised it was my birthday from my passport, and when I told him it was also our Silver Wedding Anniversary on the 5th, when we arrived back that evening, there was a bottle of prossecco and bunch of flowers in our room, this was just the icing on the cake. A hidden gem for solo travelers
The room was clean and stylish, just the way I like it. Plus, they had this nice feature where you could keep the Aircon on but turn off the lights showing the temperature. Really helped me sleep better at night. Breakfast was good too with a nice range of options, but I found it weird that I had to ask for hot coffee instead of just getting it when I sat down. I enjoyed the rooftop terrace, a perfect spot to unwind with a drink after a long day.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but acceptable for what I got.

Had a fantastic group trip with friends! We loved the rooftop terrace with its fine views and the honesty bar was a hit for our nightcap. The location was convenient for exploring the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The staff was super helpful.
The main downside was the bed being a bit too hard for comfort. A softer mattress or topper would really enhance the experience.
